FIFA, the global body of football, decided on Saturday to postpone the Under-17 Women’s World Cup to be held in India in November due to deadly corona virus spread from China. The Kovid-19 has been declared an epidemic by the WHO and as a defense, major tournaments including the Olympics have been postponed or canceled.
The FIFA Under-17 World Cup was to be held in two cities from November 2 to November 21 this year. The FIFA-Confederation Working Group took this decision.
