Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the Indian cricket team has called the Corona virus global epidemic bigger than all the World Cups. They called it the Mother of All World Cup. He has requested the people to follow the orders of the Central Government during this health crisis.
Shastri posted a video on his official Twitter handle. He said, ‘Today Kovid-19 has pushed us back. Facing this coronavirus is like you want to win a World Cup. You have to throw everything to win it. What is in front of you is not a common World Cup. This is the father of all World Cups. And not just 11 players but 1.3 billion people are facing it.
Shastri said, ‘Friends, we can win this battle. For this we have to look at the basic methods of fighting the corona virus. You have your Prime Minister who is leading this war.
Shastri said that people should respect the frontline workers who are fighting in this battle by risking their lives.
The Indian coach said, “You should follow orders from above, whether they are from the center, from the state government or from the frontline workers who are putting their lives in danger.” Shastri said that in the lockdown, which has now been extended till May 3, people should stay at home and follow social distancing.
